Description
Enjoy the expedition of a lifetime on an open-sided private Kruger Game Drive!
This offer is ideal for Family Groups that have children younger than 8 years of age, a group of Photographers or special interest groups, like Bird Watchers etc.
Pick-up and drop-off is from Nelspruit, White River, Hazyview, inside Kruger Park or one of the entrance gates of Kruger Park.
Go on to explore the Park on the lookout for lions, majestic herds of elephants, a solitary leopard lying in a shady tree and other mesmerising African Wildlife.
The vehicles we use are open safari vehicles, however, they do have roofs for shade.
Our guides are all qualified and have years’ worth of experience in the park. They love nothing more than to share their knowledge with our guests and to make sure that you have the best safari experience possible.
No tip is expected for the game drive, this is a matter of your own courtesy.
Remember your mask, sunscreen, hat, mosquito repellent (preferably apply before the drive as some passengers might get an itchy nose if you join a shared game drive), please take your antihistamine medication as well as malaria prophylaxis (although the risk of malaria is low, we do recommend taking precaution).
Summers months can get very hot and also wet all on the same day. Winters can be cool on the open vehicle, so it is advised that you wear a beanie, long trousers, warm jacket and gloves. Be sure to layer, as it can get warmer during the day.
Water will be included on the vehicle, although the driver will stop at restrooms and shops for meal purchases (as part of the tour at your own expense).

My review here is not about the actual Safari experience with Kruger Park Tours, but about the support and flexibility demonstrated by their team.
When we were exploring options for Safari tours, we had a list of must-haves on the tour. Johan was prompt with responses and was able to customise the Safari to our liking (including Kruger and Sabi Sands) , which made him our top choice.
We were scheduled to travel to South Africa in March 2020, but had to postpone (and eventually cancel) our plans due to the COVID-19 situation.
First, around early March, we reached out to Johan and his team to reschedule our trip to May 2020 (hoping that the situation would get better by then). Johan and Rochelle were very cooperative, and helped us reschedule our entire Safari.
However, as conditions didn't seem conducive to travel, after much deliberation, we had to cancel our trip. Since we had made an entire payment, we were worried, but Johan was very responsive , and assured us that he would refund us the amount entirely.
While I'm disappointed that I did not get a chance to experience the Safari with Kruger Park tours, I am very happy with their support and service throughout the booking process.
I hope to do a Safari with them when I plan a trip again.
I was overwhelmed going into this because there are so many options and price points for safaris, but Sonja and Johan were super helpful and responsive and put together a package that fit our budget and got all the things we wanted. I would definitely work with them again, and the trip was great.
Sonja and Johan were responsive and helpful throughout our preparations and trip process. We were making plans on the fly and were grateful to know that they would respond quickly and efficiently as our plans changed.
Impeccable service !!! Ecstatic experience !!!
From booking to the actual safari, Kruger Park Tours has been beyond excellent. They helped me find the right package deal within my budget and made sure I got the most out of it. Whether it was paperwork, payment or even activities to do in the Kruger, it was truly a smooth, hassle-free experience for me! I highly recommend KRUGER PARK TOURS for their top-notch customer service and I look forward to planning my next trip with them again!
Thank you for your friendly advice and all the help during our stay this past holiday. Due to the fact that you are so near the Kruger National Park you gave us valid information on the Park and the surroundings. We actually saw four of the great five. Our stay was a very memorable experience. Kind regards A C Wessels
